Roseville District Cricket Club - Captains Announcement for Season 2023-24

Roseville Cricket Club | September 26, 2023

Congratulations to all captains on their appointments for season 23/24.

Club captain: Henry Evans was unanimously re-elected as our club captain for the 2023/24 season by the executive. Henry has been a mainstay in our 1st Grade side for many seasons and is an integral part of our club both on and off the field. If anyone needs assistance throughout the season, Henry is your man and can point you in the right direction.

1st Grade: Ben Maher continues as 1st Grade Captain for Season 2023/24. After narrowly missing out on finals last season, Ben and his 1st Grade squad are determined and ready to go for season 23/24.

2nd Grade: Michael Law takes the reins of 2nd Grade for the coming season. His leadership skills have been evident in 2nd grade and Frank Gray in previous seasons, and we are very confident 2nd Grade will go from strength to strength under Michael’s leadership.

3rd Grade: President Mitch De Lorenzo steps back into the 3rd Grade captaincy for the coming season. His experience will be invaluable for our young 3rd grade side this season.

4th Grade: Bharath Ganapathy steps in as captain after a great tenure from outgoing skipper Amith. We look forward to 4th grade continuing from its success over the past two seasons under Bharath’s leadership.

5th Grade: Isaac Williams, a long-time servant of the club takes on the captaincy this season in 5th Grade. After a few years sacrificing his own cricket to play in any team that required him he has been rewarded with the 5th grade captaincy this season and we are excited to see 5th grade achieve great things this season.

6th Grade: Jerry Joseph takes over as our Chappelow Cup captain for season 23/24. After several great season in the lower grades Jerry steps up as captain. We wish Jerry and 6th grade well for the 2023/24 season.

Frank Gray U24’s: Patrick Gall continues as Frank Gray Captain for the coming 23/24 season, with Michael Law stepping into the vice captaincy for the 23/24 season. We are looking forward to seeing Pat, Michael and the Frank Gray Squad take the competition by storm this season.
