Formed in 1978, The Carrum Cricket Club has been an integral aspect of community life with the suburb. The club has a proud history, having won 16 senior premierships, initally in the FDCA and now in the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association. (Previously Carrum Footballers Cricket Club)

Q: Nick Fry has had a decorated cricket career in winning numerous premierships with the team he’s played for.

A state representative in under age cricket in the early 80s and he played District Cricket for Richmond Cricket Club for 7 years. A product of St Kevin’s College at school and their Old Collegians team before migrating south to play with Carrum Cricket Club.

He’s been a player, captain, coach, and administrator and has made a terrific contribution to the game over many years.

Q: Shaun Foster has a strong family history at Carrum Cricket Club. A very talented batsman Shaun has made a terrific impact on the Peninsula and captain for the first grade team for 4 seasons.

Shaun represented Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association in Victoria Country Cricket week for 5 years and played First Grade for Casey South Melbourne in Victoria Premier Cricket.

Q: John Mitchell has had a long and decorated career playing premier cricket in Victoria and South Australia and has been a terrific contributor and valued member of Carrum Cricket Club

Playing for Hawthorn in Victoria Premier Cricket John played 81 1st XI games and scored 1,849 runs at 22.01 including one century and 10 half centuries.

He won a first grade premiership with Hawthorn as well as for Carrum and has scored well in excess of 3,000 runs for Carrum CC.

Q: Jackson Fry played all his junior cricket and early senior cricket with Carrum Cricket Club.

He represented Mornington Peninsula Cricket Australia in Victorian Country Cricket league in 2014 before taking up the challenge of playing Victoria Premier Cricket.

In 2015 Jackson joined Casey South Melbourne Cricket Club and at the completion of the 2022/23 Jackson has played 107 first grade games and taken 115 wickets at an average of 28.96.
