ON THIS DAY - 13th November
Armidale Waratahs (The Tahs) | November 13, 2023
In 1965, two strong bowling performances, one in each grade. In 1st grade, D LITTLE (#199) took a hat trick on the opening day against TAS. After Tom Cooke took an early wicket, TAS had recovered to be 1-44 until Eric Smith broke through. Little removed Read in his fifth over and then Bill King, Jones and Pilcher in consecutive balls in his seventh. King was always a big wicket. He and and then in the 1990's, Lachlan Fulloon, were best batsmen TAS ever produced.
