ON THIS DAY - 6th January
Armidale Waratahs (The Tahs) | January 06, 2024
In 1962, DON FOSTER (#155) recorded the best bowling performance by any Waratahs player when he took all ten B grade wickets in an innings v Public Service (10-22). No other player has taken all ten. It was a record-breaking season for Foster, who took 132 wickets in B grade, a cricket association record. He also bagged another 9 in A-Res grade, which is often overlooked, for a 141 wicket season. If it wasn't a good enough day out, his bowling included a hat trick and he had earlier top scored!
