In 1957, HUGH FERRIS (#32) did the hat trick for B grade v Public Service. Defending only 72, Ferris, bowling first change, tore through Public Service with career best figures of 6-18. Not so well performed, JOHN DICKSON (#66), after making 33 in his first game, set the record for the most ducks in a season, when a pair lifted his total to 8 and a season total of 76 runs@4.5. It would be his only season.

In 1980, TONY BENNETT (#355) completed a ten wicket match for A-Res grade v Easts, taking 10-65 (8-32 & 2-33).

In A grade, Waratahs just avoided losing by an innings to Uralla. DAVID SANTLEBEN (#402), in Armidale for less than a week, debuted in the game with a pair.

In 1985, GREG HOWARTH (#493) and PETER LANGSTON (#357) added 131 for the 1st wicket for 3rd grade v St Peters, in Waratahs total 0f 7-207.
