In 1963, BOB BRENNAN (#127) took a career best 10-64 (6-34 & 4-30) as A-Res grade gave St Peters an innings hiding.

In 1966, A-Res grade gave Uralla an innings hiding, bowling them out for just 12 - the lowest team score ever made against A-Res grade - in their second innings, with Col Marshall (#102) taking 6-5.

Uralla 152 (Dick Chisholm 3-35, Col Marshall 3-37) and 12 (Col Marshall 6-5); Waratahs 4 dec 253 (Dick Chisholm 76, Bob Brennan 44, Ray McIntyre 39, Bill Nixon 33). Waratahs won by an innings and 89 runs. Wicketkeeper TERRY BETTS (#205) held 3 catches for A grade v University.

In 1977, DAVID WHEATON (#338) took career best figures for B grade v Uralla of 7-13.

In 1983, GRAHAM FROST (#333) held three catches in an innings for 1sts v Easts and wicketkeeper JASON KELLEHER (#415) did the same for 2nds v Centrals.

In 1988, GRAHAM JOHNSON (#207) made 112 not out as 2nds cruised to an innings victory over St Peters and in the process added 147 for the 2nd wicket with son BILL JOHNSON (#520)

ALEC FINLAYSON (#340) holed out for 96, opening the innings as 3rds rattled up 9-360 on the opening day v St Peters.

GARY CLARKE (#285) held 3 catches in an innings for 1sts v St Peters.

In 1994, PETER LANCASTER (#496) retired hurt on 93 for 4th grade v Churches. It was his highest score for Waratahs and was included in a partnership of 120 for the 2nd wicket with SCOTT MURPHY (#725). On the first week of the game, Lancaster had taken 5-28, giving him an entry on the Best Match Performance list. RICHARD FORD (#638) held 3 catches in the Churches second dig.

In 5th grade, ALBERT HOFKAMP (#476) followed up a first day 88 v Easts with 5-38 and an entry onto the Best Match Performance list.

Favourite bat: The one that scored the most.

Most memorable moment in cricket:
1952-53 A grade Final, beating Easts 2 outright after our worst A/1st grade total in the sixty year history of the club. Beat the very strong Uralla in the last round to just scrape into the semis and then Easts 1 in the Semi. Played one player short on the first day after a mix up with team sheets and made 163 in the sunshine, Ross Ridley 59. Easts 0-57 at stumps after four dropped catches. Didn't play the second day for two weeks because of the Armidale Show and then after four days of heavy rain. Wicket now a sticky and impossible to bat on. Easts all out for 95, Don Paul 6-24. Batting a second time, Waratahs still one short and Ridley now out injured, all out for 21. Easts needing 90 don't make it to halfway, all out for 43, Don Paul 7-20. Waratahs win their first premiership in only their third season.
