Wheelchair Cricket Asia Cup is set to organize at Kathmandu, Nepal in October 2023

Kathmandu, Nepal – The excitement is building as the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Association (PWCA) and the Nepal Wheelchair Cricket Association (NWCA), under the aegis of the International Council of Wheelchair Cricket (ICWC), have announced the upcoming Wheelchair Cricket Asia Cup. The tournament will be held at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, Nepal from October 4 to October 9, 2023.

This prestigious event will bring together some of the best wheelchair cricket teams from the Asian continent, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. With fierce competition and incredible talent on display, fans can expect thrilling matches and unforgettable moments throughout the tournament.


 

The announcement was made by distinguished individuals representing the ICWC. Mohd Zeeshan, the ICWC Secretary, led the press conference, while Rookhsana Rajput, CEO of the ICWC, Haroon Rasheed, the President, Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director, Vivek Kumar, CFO, and Ghazal Khan, Vice Chairperson, were also present to answer questions and provide further details about the event.

The Wheelchair Cricket Asia Cup aims to promote inclusivity and showcase the exceptional skills and determination of wheelchair cricketers. It will not only be a wonderful sporting spectacle but also a celebration of the power of sport to unite people from diverse backgrounds.
