What year were you born?
2007.
Tell us about your cricket journey. Where did you start junior cricket and the clubs you’ve played for in senior cricket?
I started playing cricket at about 7 or 8 for Northern Suburbs in Maitland, I moved to Newcastle at 15 to play more grade cricket playing at Newcastle city and Belmont, I have played for Blacktown Mounties in AW Green Shield being the highest run scorer for my team. I also represented Newcastle at Bradman Cup.

How would you describe yourself as a cricketer?
Batting all-rounder.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
Standing in a field for hours and scoring runs and playing with mates.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
Taking my maiden wicket and scoring my maiden first-grade 50 in 1st grade.

Ricky Ponting.
