Tell us about your cricket journey. Where did you start junior cricket and the clubs you’ve played for in senior cricket?
Started off playing at Newcastle City for juniors and then into Grade Cricket, had a season over in England for Tarleton CC and now playing for Belmont District Cricket Club.
How would you describe yourself as a cricketer?
Wicketkeeper batsman.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
I love being able to play competitive sports while playing with good mates.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
Hit the winning runs for Cheshire Gents in the last over with fellow Graham Aveyard at Cholmondeley Castle Grounds.

Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
James Burke against Yorkshire Gents in York, it was a sight to see in the blistering heat.

Is there a young player in your club you’d like to nominate as a player to watch?
Kael Keast.
Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
Alex “The Grub” Grabham and Ben Bliss.
What are the two attributes you like to see in a captain and leader?
A captain that has that fight in him, that dog if you will.

Who’s considered the biggest pest at your club?
Josh Muddle hands down.

Favourite location, city or country as a holiday destination?
Switzerland.
Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?
I would have to say James Goldstein has been the biggest influence and driving factor in my development as a cricketer.
Where do you find inspiration that gets you through challenging times?
Michelle Williams’s, daily admin settles those nerves nicely.
Who are the three people in the world you’d love to meet and talk to?
Becky Wallace, Wayne Lambert, Kevin James.
What do you like to do to relax outside cricket?
Spa retreats.
If working, what do you do?
Lot 101 restaurant and farm.
What are your goals for this season?
Score Runs take a few hangers and win some matches.
