Tell us about your cricket journey. Where did you start junior cricket and the clubs you’ve played for in senior cricket?
Started at Valentine Cricket Club in U10s and spent my whole junior career there. I started playing grade cricket for Belmont in U14s and have played here every year since.
How would you describe yourself as a cricketer?
All-rounder.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
I love the competitive nature of the sport, but most of all I love spending each Saturday with a great bunch of lads.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
The first hundred I scored in England, I’ll never forget it.

Who’s the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
Liam Terrell enough said.
Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Gavin Dean absolutely rags it.
Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Jack Clement hitting 187* in a 40-over game, some of the cleanest hitting I’ve ever seen. I batted with him for about 20 overs and we must have had a partnership of about 150.
Who is the best wicket keeper you’ve had the good fortune to play with?
A young fella named Nathan Thomas. I was fortunate enough to spend my whole junior career with Nate behind the stumps, some of the best glove work I have experienced.
Is there a young player in your club you’d like to nominate as a player to watch?
Jacob Curry, young bloke opening the bowling for 1st grade. Good looking and takes poles for fun.

Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
Skipper Tony Bristow and Jamie Heath. I look up to these two big time.

Who’s considered the biggest pest at your club?
Josh Muddle, that bloke does my head in I swear to god.

Favourite location, city or country as a holiday destination?
Belmont Lagoon
Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?
Probably my first cricket coach, Gary Pinches. He was the first bloke to teach me about the intricacies of the game and get me to a position to play better cricket.
Where do you find inspiration that gets you through challenging times?
I look to my mates. I'm fortunate enough to be playing cricket with my best mates, they always inspire me to do my best.

James Goldstein, Peter Garrett and Ahmed Mano.
