What year were you born?
2003.
Tell us about your cricket journey. Where did you start junior cricket and the clubs you’ve played for in senior cricket?
I started playing for Belmont when I was 14, and then at 16, I roped my dad into coming out of retirement and went to play grade cricket with him at Belmont.
How would you describe yourself as a cricketer?
Can bowl, Can bowl, Can keep. Jack of all trades, master of none.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
Get out and about and enjoy a good day with the boys.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
Probably successfully defending 27 runs in juniors out at Toronto.
Who’s your favourite all-time cricketer?
David Warner a fellow lefty. Love his approach to the game.

Who is the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
Riley Urquhart, I played with him in juniors, was quick then, and he’s still quick now.

Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Connor Gibson watched him take poles for fun in 4ths now he’s killing it in 1sts.

Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Jordy Pitt 116 at Bernie Curran was a sight, hitting bombs left, right and centre.

Is there a young player in your club you’d like to nominate as a player to watch?
Young Kael Keast, Love his attitude to the game has come a long way in the 1-2 years in grade—plenty of talent about him.

Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
Jamie Heath, David Keast. Two veterans who’ve played high levels of cricket. Their grit and dedication to Belmont is top notch, and I love playing alongside them.

What are the two attributes you like to see in a captain and leader?
Determined and love for the game and their club.

Who’s considered the biggest pest at your club?
Thor Harradine, Love him and his chirp (as shite as it can be at times).

Favourite location, city or country as a holiday destination?
Italy, Pizza, Pasta, Wine & views.
Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?
My old boy. Made me go play for my local club at 14, taking me to all my games. Then coming out of retirement to play grade with me (Now captaining 4ths). Owe it to him; I love talking & watching cricket with him.
Where do you find inspiration that gets you through challenging times?
Just got to knuckle down & grind it out.
