Rehaan Shyamsundar is an extremely skilful leg-spinning all-rounder for Western Suburbs District Cricket Club, known for his high level of energy during training and in matches.
During the first round of the 2024/25 season, Rehaan made his debut in 2nd grade against Sutherland at just 15 years of age, taking 2 for 40 off ten overs in a convincing victory.

What year were you born?
2009
Tell us about your cricket journey. Where did you start junior cricket, and the clubs you play for in senior cricket?
I started playing for Barker College in Year 5; my first club was Kissing Point CC, and then I played for Sydney Uni in Green Shield and Metros. I then played for Western Suburbs and the U17 Northern Territory side. I’ve also played Yorkshire Premier League cricket and 1st XI for Barker and Scarborough College.

The mateship, I enjoy getting to spend time around my teammates.

What are your goals for this season?
I want to win a premiership for Western Suburbs, achieve the top 3 in club championships, and personally take 50 wickets and win as many games as I can for the team
