The NSW Premier Cricket First Grade Grand Final is set to begin on Friday, March 28, 2025—a three-day showdown between Parramatta and Fairfield Liverpool at Cricket Central in Sydney

Fairfield Liverpool has had a remarkable journey to the final. After finishing third on the ladder at the end of the regular season, they faced Western Suburbs in the quarter-final. Batting first, they piled on 382 runs in 155 overs before the match was called a draw, allowing them to advance.

In the semi-final against Penrith, Fairfield Liverpool found themselves in early trouble at 4 for 25, after Penrith’s declared total of 5 for 284. But their two most experienced players, Brent Williams (102) and captain Luke Ohrynowsky*, steadied the ship, guiding them to 4 for 181 before the match ended in another draw—securing their place in the Grand Final.
