What's the buzz about the Spirit of Cricket Twenty20 Global Over-50s Competition with Anthony Telfer

Echo Cricket | September 25, 2024

There's something incredibly exciting happening in Mildura starting Friday, 28 September – the inaugural Spirit of Cricket Twenty20 Global Over-50s Competition.

Life, Sport and Cricket is about experiences, and I think the gentleman we’re about to speak to should be applauded and very proud of what he’s achieved and the journey ahead.

His initiative is a shining example of the entrepreneurial energy that's helping cricket evolve and grow across all age groups. It's proof that cricket isn't just a young person's game – it's a sport for life, where friendships, memories, and new experiences continue to be forged, even well into our senior years.

Veterans Cricket is one of the fastest-growing demographics in cricket where people aged 40 all the way up to 80 are staying active, staying connected to the game they love, and enjoying the camaraderie that cricket brings.

To give us more insight into this exciting event is Anthony Telfer, founder of the Spirit of Cricket.

Kingsgrove Sports was a very proud sponsor of the CricConnect conversation with Anthony Telfer from the Spirit of Cricket.
