India cricket training camp in April 2025 with Peter Drinnen and Brad Murphy

Brad Murphy | July 26, 2024

For any cricketers around Australia interested in joining Peter Drinnen and myself on our annual Indian Skills Camp in April 2025, the full details are below.

This camp is for players interested in a sub-continental training experience under the watchful eyes of our Indian coaching group, the Global Cricket School.

We specifically designed this trip to enhance your ability to play cricket on spinning pitches. This trip is perfect for batsmen, spinners, and, of course, wicketkeepers.

Drinno and I are on hand throughout, making sure our group gets plenty of coaching attention from the Indian mentors. We enlist the services of local net bowlers. We also play some games and centre wickets in order to put into practice the skill drills you will work on during training.

We also do a little touristy stuff in and around Mumbai, where we stay in quality shared-room accommodation.

If necessary, our group can accommodate two levels: youths above 15 who are in school holidays, as well as grade and first-class players who either aim to enhance their skills or are en route to a winter season in the UK. We can arrange for Mumbai to be your stopover on the way to England.

Previous members of these camps have included Jimmy Peirson, Sam Heazlett, James Bazley, and Bryce Street, so you can see the levels we set!

We welcome parents and cricket tragics to join us for training and sightseeing in the city, then join us in the evenings.

In summary, if you are wanting a trip where you will genuinely improve your all-round game and experience a culture far removed from Australia, then please feel free to ask us any questions, as we look forward to improving cricket in Australia through trips such as this.
