Dubbo Cricket Reunion - The Golden Decade Dubbo Cricket in the 70's

Graham Mackie | January 19, 2023

When I turned up in Dubbo in January 1974, I thought it would just be basic bush cricket but I got it totally wrong.

Playing First Grade was Col Blackman, Dave Martin, Peter Leslie, Ken McMullen, Ian Drake, Keith Sparkes, Tony Corcoran and Lloyd Keir plus some brilliant youngsters such as David Tink, Jeff Graham, Wayne Munro, Barry Coad, Steven Wheeler, Ian McGee, John Watts, Andrew Munden, Graham Tink, Michael Kempston and many others.

After a number of recent deaths, we think it’s time to relive "The Golden Decade" of Dubbo Cricket in the 70's on the weekend of 24, 25, 26 March in Dubbo

?Here are some tremendous photo to rekindle a few memories

I went on a tour of the US and the Caribbean with Lloyd Keir and Peter Leslie. Tremendous cricketers and top blokes. And Jeff ‘Carrot’ Graham played at Gordon for a few seasons. Another top guy. Well done Smacka.
