The inaugural United States Major League Cricket draft took place in Houston

Yesterday the inaugural Major League Cricket draft took place in Houston. 6 new teams and a new venture off the ground. It’s very exciting for the people that have worked so hard to see cricket in the USA take off. Many players have left their country of origin to play in the US and to create what will be such a huge tournament this year and the years to follow. I have been close to cricket in America for 13 years and I know so many people ready for this to happen. Congratulations to Major League Cricket for what they have put together.
