An amazing game of cricket. Great result made even more so I think as I was supposed to open the batting with Greg Chambers and during the Victorian innings I broke both fingers on my top hand putting me out for the next 10 days. Foles simply stood up and took my place and he and Master did a fantastic job at the top setting up the innings and the boys did the rest. What a team this was.
From the Victorian team Kevin Neville, Geoff Parker, Darren Berry, Ian Wrigglesworth all played first class cricket.
