Hi Paul, Thanks for post the team photo. This team won the ACCC. The group consisted mainly of players from Newcastle, the remaining players came from Albury, Glen Innes, Grafton, Temora & Dubbo. The manager Ken Robson ( father of Jim ( Jungle) Robson) from Goulburn, assist manager Ivor Evan from Illawarra was a driving force to establish high level Country Cricket.
The national Carnival was played as 2 day & 1 day matches. NSW completed a sweep of all matches. Now doubt the hardest match was played against ACT. The final round match went something like NSW 430 ish ACT 400 ish. Those matches we always tight & tough competition
