What year were you born?
2002
Can you remember your first game of cricket?
Not specifically, I remember Milo cricket on a Friday afternoon in Wilberforce with my younger brother being the highlight of my week.
Tell us briefly about your cricketing journey?
I moved to the Camden Haven area when I was 9 and played all my junior cricket for Camden Haven Cricket Club. I started playing in local premier league cricket at 14 for the Port Pirates in Port Macquarie. Then moved to Sydney to play grade in 2020/2021 for Gordon.
In which grade and at what age did you make your debut in senior cricket?
I was 17, played 2nd grade for Gordon v Hawkesbury who would have been my local club if we never moved which was cool for me.
What is the highest grade you have played, and can you remember how you performed in your first game in that grade?
1st grade. My debut was in a T20 against Mosman, I was 0/7 off 1, an uneventful debut.
If you can share with our audience, how would you describe yourself as a cricketer?
Right arm off spinner, right hand bat. Love a contest on both ends.
Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Tym Crawford at Chatswood Oval V Penrith in his run of hundreds. He got 200 on one of the hottest days I have played cricket on, it was brilliant watching.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket?
We had an epic win against Parramatta at the start of the year. A game that went down to the wire and back and forth all day. Finished off by a great catch at short leg by Jamie Bekis. Beating a strong side like Parra made it even sweeter. [Editors note: His 7-73 last weekend in an outright win over UNSW might give that day a run for its money]
