Waverley - Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club team of 125 Years
Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club Sydney | February 02, 2024
Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club celebrated 125 years in the Sydney Grade/NSW Premier Cricket competition at an Anniversary Lunch at Doltone House on 12 March 2020.
The celebration culminated in the announcement of the Waverley/ Eastern Suburbs Team of 125 Years.
As part of the announcement Easts Dolphins shared the 50 contenders up for selection
The criteria for selection is arduous and reflects the community spirit in which the history and foundation of the Waverley/ Eastern Suburbs Cricket Clubs history has been built.

Criteria for context:
- All ESCC statistics are for 1st grade only and are correct to the end of the 2018-19 season.
- All ESCC premierships are for 1st grade only. To qualify as an ESCC Premiership winner the player must have played a minimum of three 1st grade games during that season.
- All International and 1st class statistics are correct as of 1st December 2019.
- The eligibility criteria to be considered for the 50 Contenders was a "minimum of 5 seasons (or part thereof) of senior cricket for Waverley District Cricket Club (WDCC)/Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club (ESCC) from 1894 to season 2018-19 inclusive. Plus, a minimum of 1000 runs, 100 wickets or 50 wicket keeping dismissals for WDCC/ESCC (across all grades)
