What a great photo of this fantastic Australian side. Also great to see a photo of the late, great Fred Bennett. What a magnificent Cricket Administrator he was. Freddie was very kind to me when I went to play for the Balmain District Cricket Club in 1967. I was 14 years old and selected in 4th Grade. Freddie was the Skipper. Freddie mentored me all the way until I eventually got selected in 1st Grade in 1972. The rest is history. Forever grateful for Freddie’s guidance. RIP old mate.
