Ritchie and Patterson put together huge juniors partnership

Manly Warringah District Cricket Club | November 09, 2024

We love the old articles from the Manly Daily, our local rag that was able to provide our story to the Northern Beach public for over 100 years.

We managed to dig this one up from 2003-04 about a 198-run partnership between Scott Patterson and Jack Ritchie in the U15 Weblin shield competition.

Scott hit 112 while Jack managed 93 in a final total of 297.

Both Jack and Scott went on to have great careers at Manly. Jack is still filling in every now and then and is currently sitting on 6,198 runs. 61 of those were in Round 5 this season in a match winning innings in 4th Grade. His career spanned from 2003-04 to, well, this season.

Scott played from 2003-04 to until 2011-12, hitting 3,251 runs with a top score of 129* in a second-grade semi-final in 2011-12 against Campbelltown.
