1988-89 1st Grade Premiers and Club Champions

Manly Warringah District Cricket Club | December 24, 2024

The 1988-89 season was a special one for the Manly Warringah Waratahs. We won the 1st Grade Premiership under the Captaincy of Greg Bush, as well as winning the prestigious Club Championship.

Our 1st Grade win was the first since the 1973/74 season when Mick Pawley led the team to victory, while the Club Championship was only our 2nd win ever, and was the first since the 1976/77 season.

This photo is with our 1st Grade side in front of the Manly Oval Change Rooms and the famous "Room at the Top".
