Q: Chris Holding is Toombul District Cricket Club first grade player number 488 after making his debut during the 1989–90 Brisbane Grade Cricket season.
A very talented right-hand batter, Chris celebrated his first hundred in first grade in the grandest of style when he steered Toombul to their first premiership in first grade for 28 seasons when they defeated Easts in 1990–1991.
Chris spent several seasons in the Queensland Sheffield Squad and played Queensland 2nd XI cricket, demonstrating his batting talent, and run scoring.
Chris was selected for the Australian Over 50s cricket team to tour New Zealand in March 2024

Q: Peter Clifford played first class cricket for NSW and Queensland scoring 2,864 runs in 48 first class games. He scored 6 centuries and 14 half centuries averaging 38.70.
Peter left home in Bellingen NSW to join Randwick Cricket Club in Sydney and played during one on the most successful eras of the clubs history.
On moving to Queensland Peter joined Toombul Cricket Club in 1986 and was the captain of the First Grade Premiership winning team in 1991/92. He was also awarded the Peter Burge medalist in the same year for being the best and fairest player in Brisbane premier grade cricket.

Q: Dean Morrison started his cricket journey with Toombul District Cricket Club asa junior in the Under 10s and made his way into grade cricket in 6th grade.
During the 1996/97 season Dean made his first grade debut to become Toombul DCC first grade player number 515.
At the age of 24 Dean moved to the UK to play some cricket and has since also enjoyed a successful career in finance and accounting. Recently he launched an exciting new business venture called “LassWho”.
Dean also represented the Jersey national cricket team in numerous International Cricket Council tournaments, as well as for the Australian Indigenous XI in 2003.
