Jeff Goninan - Awarded Life Membership in 2023-24

Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Jeff Goninan has been awarded Life Membership of the club at our annual presentation dinner for the 2023-24 season.

Jeff has been a member of our club since the 2006-07 season and since that time he has made a significant contribution to the club as a player, captain and also and an outstanding ambassador and advocate for the club through representative cricket.

Jeff has played over 170 First Grade games for the club and has scored 10 first grade centuries (club record). Jeff captained the 1st grade team for a number of seasons and shouldered a significant burden during this time as our club was very much struggling on the field. Jeff was also key member of the 1st Grade Final winning team in 2021-22.

Jeff has been an outstanding ambassador for Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club during his time as a representative cricketer for both Newcastle and NSW Country. Jeff has represented Newcastle at senior level for over a decade and has won 8 NSW Country Championship Titles and has also represented NSW Country for five seasons (2013/14, 2014/15, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24).

We are immensely proud to honour Jeff Goninan with Life Membership of our club. A seagull for life!
