Daniel Foster - Awarded Life Membership in 2023-24

Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Daniel Foster has been awarded Life Membership at our annual presentation dinner for the 2023-24 season.

Daniel has been an integral part of our club for approximately 20 years, during which time he has made a significant impact and contribution both on and off the field. Daniel’s commitment to the ethos of the club been evident in every aspect of his involvement.

Daniel has played over 200 club games over a period of approximately 20 years. He was a key member of the 1st Grade Final winning team in 2021-22 and has also captained a variety of lower grade teams over many seasons.

In addition to his on field contributions, Daniel has made a substantial off field contribution to the club in a variety of roles. Daniel took on the role of club selector and he did so at a time where the club was struggling for playing numbers and depth, this was a particularly challenging job and one which was critical in keeping the club afloat at the time and he has also been the club curator for a number of seasons.

Daniel has been an outstanding leader and mentor within the club for many years. Aside from the important captaincy positions he has held within the club he has been an outstanding mentor within the playing group, especially over the last 5 or 6 years where he has been a positive and stable voice for all. He has formed strong relationships with many of our younger players which has assisted their growth and players and people. Daniel is well respected and admired within the club, as a senior player his dedication and resilience have helped us form the strong culture we have today.

We are immensely proud to honour Daniel Foster with Life Membership of our club. A seagull for life!
