Q: If a right arm off spinner is bowling around the wicket to a right-hand batter and the batter attempts a reverse sweep does the shot negate the need for the ball to be pitching in line with the stumps for the batter to be given out lbw.

question
Q: Pat Cummins showed little faith in Todd Murphy in the 3rd test when he only bowled 2 overs in England 2nd innings and England chased 254 to win with the loss of 7 wickets.
Murphy was not selected for the 4th test and Australia didn’t play a spinner on a very flat wicket.
Murphy played the 5th test and took 6 wickets.
Lyon and Murphy both played 2 tests in the series.
Lyon - 9 wickets at 29.3 with a strike rate of a wicket every 44 balls.
Murphy – 7 wickets at 25.8 with a strike rate of a wicket every 32 balls.
Murphy also averaged 19 with the bat.

Q: So I tried AI to tell me what are the parallels between life and cricket. Here's what it came up with: Cricket is a game of skill, strategy and patience. It is also a game of uncertainty, unpredictability and frustration. Life is like cricket in many ways. You never know what kind of pitch you will get, what kind of ball you will face, or what kind of umpire you will encounter. You have to adapt to the changing conditions, play according to your strengths and weaknesses, and hope for the best. Sometimes you hit a six, sometimes you get out for a duck. Sometimes you win the toss, sometimes you lose it. Sometimes you catch a brilliant catch, sometimes you drop a sitter. Sometimes you get a fair decision, sometimes you get a howler. The only thing that matters is how you handle the ups and downs, how you celebrate the victories and learn from the defeats, how you respect your opponents and enjoy the game. Cricket teaches us many lessons about life: teamwork, discipline, perseverance, sportsmanship and humility. Cricket is not just a sport; it is a way of life.
A: AI knows cricket pretty well - captured everything I love about the game

Do you select Batter A or B to play in the XI?
A: Batter A, in form
answered
Q: For high catches in the outfield, should fielders hands and fingers be pointing upwards to the sky or be pointing downwards towards the ground?
A: I think there's less risk catching high balls with fingers pointing upwards as your eyes are always on the ball and you could get a second chance if you don't take it cleanly the first time
