Briars Sporting Club has recently merged with Greenlees Park Bowling Club. This is a significant venture has meant cricket club will have closer access to all playing and training grounds as well as improved social facilities. The park adjacent has already been put to good use hosting the junior development programs of the club. The club does not consist of merely cricketers. There are also four other main sports Rugby, Hockey, Squash and Bowls. A recent merger with Greenlees Park Bowling Club has enabled an increase in the quality of amenities and facilities offered at the club. It additionally means a person can begin playing for the club as a junior and be involved with the club, and our sport for their entire life! Rothwell Park, Concord is the first grade ground. This picturesque oval has been the scene of a range of great triumphs for the club. In season 2006/07 the ground was voted as the number one ground in the competition.
