Q: The following fourteen players for both the Women’s and Men’s Victorian Country Cricket teams have been selected to play in the 2024 Australian Country Cricket Championships in Newcastle.

Teams from NSW, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland will play at grounds in the Newcastle area.

The men’s competition commences on Wednesday 3rd January and the Women’s competition on Thursday 4th January with both finishing on Wednesday 10th January.

Q: The Victorian Country Cricket League held their 2023 Annual General Meeting on Sunday 13th August.

At the AGM the following people were recognised for their outstanding contributions and inducted into the Victorian Country Cricket League Hall of Fame.

The VCCL Women's and Men's team of the year for 2023 were also announced.
