The Aussies terrorised batsmen for a decade and were both part of Sir Don Bradman’s 1948
‘Invincibles’ team, although Miller fell out with his captain when he allowed himself to be bowled first ball as his colleagues plundered 721 in a day v Essex.

They were great mates to Joe. My Father played for NSW with them both & Dad told a typical Keith Miller story when the night before a Sheffield Shield game at the MCG against Victoria both Miller & Lindwall were playing cards & Lindwall won & took all of Miller’s money so the next morning first day of the Shield game Miller’s gone out to toss in 40 degree heat & won & decided to bowl in everyone’s disbelief & made Lindwall bowl unchanged till lunch in the blistering heat….😂😂
