Mosman Cricket Club remains hopeful of taking out this year’s Sydney Grade Cricket Club Championship despite an unsuccessful weekend for the Club’s First XI.

After a disappointing loss to Campbelltown on Saturday, the Whales’ first grade team travelled to Penrith on Sunday for the final of the one-day competition.

Hopes were high for the team’s first piece of silverware this season.

However, the game was all but over after the Whales were rolled for only 120 runs after electing to bat first.
