Simon's remarkable journey spans over three decades of dedicated service and excellence within our cricket community. His commitment to WMDCC is exemplified by his roles as first grade captain, Newcastle representative player, and curator for an impressive 25 years. Simon also works on Number 1 Sportsground and is regarded as one of the Hunter’s finest curators. Notably, Simon was a key member of the esteemed Team of the 2000s decade, showcasing his exceptional talent and contribution to the sport.In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Simon was honored with the prestigious Country Cricket Curator of the Year award this last season, underscoring his expertise and dedication to maintaining top-quality facilities for our club and the broader cricketing community.As we confer upon him life membership, we express our heartfelt gratitude for Simon's enduring commitment and passion for Waratah Mayfield DCC.
