As a young coach I’d like to get some guidance on how I should be advising the fast to medium pace bowlers on where they should be looking as they’re running into bowl?

For kids I would start with the base of the stumps at the batsman’s end. As they progress then spots on the wicket. A good net training activity is to obtain some flat rubber discs for target practice which can be placed at different lengths.

Excellent Brett. I remember reading Dennis Lillee comments about how he always looked at the base of off stump as he was running into bowl
